Inspired by the changing nature of colours and light, the printing series AURORA, which I am currently developing, symbolises a broader experiment and project focused on working with colour layers and the interference between grid patterns and colours to create subtle gradients. I aim to integrate the printing technique itself as fully as possible into the creative process. The 'colour image' literally takes shape during the printing process.
In this triptych, I explore a subtle interplay of colour gradients and raster interference, creating a dynamic and layered visual effect. The three panels work together, with each section evolving as the light and color interactions shift across the composition.
By using diagonal raster lines, I aim to generate a sense of depth and movement while evoking an atmospheric quality through smooth transitions from soft to more intense tones, shifting from fine grid lines to larger ones.
