Melancholy
- consists of 8 screen prints.The Melancholy series evokes emotion in motion through the interplay of colors and lines and the repetition of the motif. Melancholy was created during the process of screen-printing a photographic image. One image, in three different versions, with different grids on the screen frame, was printed repeatedly over a period of several weeks.
Integral to the printing process are the technical processes that form part of the creative and conceptual creation process of the work: the matrix, the motif, the repetition - the multiple, the delay, and the layering of colors.
