Springtime in the Wetlands of the Molembeek Valley

In the design for this work I drew layer upon layer with different types of grids. In my work, I use often visible grid lines and optical colour blends as compositional elements. For me, the intrinsic structure of the image is as important as the actual representative content. This work is a mix of photographic, drawing and ditigal editing techniques and ofcourse: silkscreen printing. Perhaps best described as a form of post-photography techniques, in the sense of screen printed post-pop-landscape-impressionism-post-photography (ecology of vision and perception). To give it a provisional categorical name.
